Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Georgian Revival dining chairs are early 20th-century seating pieces manufactured to replicate 18th-century English designs, particularly those popularized by Thomas Chippendale, George Hepplewhite, and Thomas Sheraton.

These chairs were predominantly crafted from dense mahogany timber, featuring hand-carved decorative elements such as pierced back splats, cabriole legs, and ball-and-claw feet, often paired with drop-in upholstered seats.

Identification involves examining corner block construction beneath the seat frame, checking for mortise and tenon joinery, inspecting aged patination on the mahogany frame, and noting hand-carved detail work.

Pair these dark timber chairs with a simple modern dining table or place them against a light stone wall to create a structured visual balance between classic woodwork and modern minimalism.

Dust the timber surfaces regularly with a dry microfibre cloth and apply high-quality beeswax annually along the wood grain, ensuring the chairs are placed away from direct radiators to avoid timber shrinkage.
