A very good 19th.Century Chippendale style figured mahogany bachelors chest of serpentine form with canted corners. The solid mahogany top having a moulded edged above the cock beaded brushing slide with axe head pulls. Below are 4 graduated and cock beaded serpentine shaped drawers retaining the original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons with solid oak linings throughout. The canted corners having Chippendale style blind fret carving and the whole raised on off set shaped and canted bracket feet. Dimensions:- Height…35’’/ 89cm. Width…40’’/ 102cm. Depth…21’’/ 53cm.
