Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco clocks from the 1920s and 1930s reflect the machine age with strong geometric silhouettes, clean lines, and symmetrical proportions. Manufacturers incorporated modern industrial materials alongside stylized numerical dials to create functional tabletop objects.

Timepieces from this era frequently feature chrome-plated metals, pressed or molded glassincluding opaline and uranium glassand bakelite. Dial faces were often crafted from brushed metals or painted card encased behind glass panels.

Authentic pieces generally exhibit era-appropriate manufacturing details, such as mechanically stamped movement plates, heavy chrome bezels showing light natural patina, and glass that fluoresces under ultraviolet light if uranium oxide was used during production.

Display the clock on a wooden mantelpiece, floating shelf, or office desk where natural light highlights the translucency of the glass. Pair it with minimalist decor or neutral tones to let the geometric form stand out.

Dust the exterior regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to prevent build-up. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents on chrome or glass surfaces, and consult a professional horologist for movement maintenance and oiling.
