Description

19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE OAK BENCH BY ARTHUR SIMPSON. A superb antique oak seat/bench/settle made by the Arts and Crafts designer, Arthur Simpson of Kendal. This Arts and Crafts inspired antique seat is made using the most fantastic cut of well grained oak, this being in the original finish. The seat features extra shapes that only Arthur Simpson used. This antique oak seat retains its original sprung seat base, now requiring a squab seat cushion. English. Circa : 1890. In superb condition, being very solid with no damage.

Dimensions: 159cm wide x 63cm deep x 85cm high seat rail 31cm high.
