10' 6" Pure Wool Runner Rug

Description

A difficult to find 10' 6" antique Persian pure wool runner in superb newly cleaned unworn condition c.1910. The hand knotted deep pile with a rich red background decorated with an interlocking geometric floral design in teal blues, dark greens, champagnes and golds. Broad border to the outer edge with a dark background and design to complement the centre of the rug. The design typical of the Hamadan area of Persia, presented in superb superb unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 126" long x 33" wide.
