A handsome Regency period mahogany folding tea table, with a D-shaped top and elegant simplicity characteristic of the era. The table features a hinged fold-over top that opens to reveal an extended playing or serving surface that reveal s a secret storage compartment. The top is supported by turned tapering legs with a pleasing patina developed over time.

Crafted from fine figured mahogany, this table showcases the timeless style and craftsmanship of the early 19th century. Perfect as an occasional or console table when closed, and ideal for tea or card use when opened.

W91 D45 H76 cm

Condition:

Good antique condition with expected surface wear consistent with age and use. Some losses to table top, scrathces and splits to leg.
