Antique Mahal carpet of excellent palmette design with superb colours.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has a all over palmette design, the design is in soft pastel colours on a very soft red field. These colours are very easy to furnish with and the carpet is very easy on the eye. The carpet is of a very sought after small room size.

The dark indigo border frames the carpet beautifully.

The carpet is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The carpet has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic floor use.
