Antique Georgian Mahogany Corner Wash Stand Table.

A stunning Georgian corner table, ideal for any period home.

We are delighted to offer this excellent condition antique Georgian (C1830) Mahogany corner wash stand. In order to keep the piece as original as possible we have made a top from period Mahogany timber which drops onto the top of the original bowl holes and latches securely in place so it can be used as a little corner table.

The table is complete with its original rear up-stands including the little candle holder to the top. The table features 1 finely cut dovetail constructed drawer which is trimmed with Ebony around the edge and flanked either side by 2 faux drawers either side. The drawers and faux drawers are complete with their original turned knobs.

It would sit very prettily in any corner and the legs do not splay out far so it is a particularly well proportioned.

The table is ideal to be used as corner lamp table or plant stand and would suit any period property.

The table is solid with no loose joints, breaks or wobbles and is ready for its new home. We have sympathetically restored this table maintaining its original patina, signs of age and it has a lovely deep rich original colour and French polished finish. We have cleaned and carefully waxed this item to give a natural lustrous sheen and preserve and protect the item.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character.
