Description

Mid 19th century swedish birch chest of drawers circa 1860.

Good quality swedish commode, fitted with 3 near equally sized drawers that open on the key.

Rectangular top with moulded edge, with the 3 drawers running directly below, rounded edges to the front sides.  standing on rounded block feet.  working locks and key.

Recently re-polished by hand in our workshop to maintain it's original golden colour.  minor restorations to woodwork, minor surface marks, minor evidence of dead inactive/treated worm.  slight natural warping to drawer fronts, functional piece of furniture ready for everyday use.
