Georgian Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
Above there are 4 fluted tapering columns which made the shelving area, finished with a mahogany cornice.
On the left and right are 2 wings which slope away from main bookcase, again with shelving, cornice and apothecary drawers. Below are painted cupboards, and all stands on an enclosed plinth. There are also 2 mirrors for each end.
Overall height - 270.5cm. Floor to top of base cupboards – 84.5cm, middle section of apothecary drawers - 62cm, top section from top of drawers to top of cornice 124cm.
Central section – 390cm wide overall, 29cm deep.
Left section – 141cm wide, 18cm deep.
Right section – 110cm wide, 18cm deep.
Entire shop as seen £11,500.
