Grand Pair Victorian White & Gilt Staffordshire Dogs C1860

Description

This lovely PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE WHITE AND GILT DOGS date from circa 1860.

Their coats are very well-defined and they have a proud pose.

The tiny piece of kiln detritus on the cheek of the left side DOG makes for a well-placed beauty spot.

They are in good condition. There is an old, small, thin, surface chip to the edge of the right dog’s tail and some minor nicks to the foot rim. There is no restoration.

A GRAND PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS that have a presence all of their own.
