Edwardian Mahogany Hall Stand

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality mahogany hat and coat stand dating from the early 20th century. It has beautifully shaped metal pegs around the top section which also revolves and 3 further pegs lower down. It has a ring around the base to support sticks or umbrellas. It is well made and a sturdy construction set on three splayed legs with a turned finial on top.

It is in good condition for its age and has a lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.

Height : 81" / 206cm

Width at the base : 22" / 56cm
