Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Made in the twenties by Hughes Bolckow the ship breakers in Blyth, Northumberland from teak timbers from the decommissioned battleship S.S.Ontario. Labelled by the maker for Heals of London’s Tottenham Court Road showroom who retailed them. A great design, perfect for a smaller garden, terrace or balcony. The slatted square dining table has four shaped legs with a under shelf, the four dining chairs fit neatly under the table when not in use, forming a neat cube. The original metal makers label is on the table. All the pieces are in superb condition. One of the best examples we have had into stock.
