M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
. The oak-lined drawers having moulded-edge surrounds and fitted with original brass solid back-plate handles, being of slightly differing design to each table . The tables each raised on 4 shapely cabriole legs terminating onto pad feet.

Heavy grade of selected dense Cuban mahogany which has achieved a rich colour and patina to the original surface. Both tops with various historic marks , stains and dents commensurate with age , use and purpose.

Undoubtedly made in the same workshops , having the same method of construction , dimensions and design.
A rare matched pair of C18th period tables to bring symmetry to a scheme in a variety of possible uses and settings.
