An unusual and attractive set of 19th century brass and mahogany hanging shelves. Spiral moulded brass supports to the front with ball finials to the top and buns to the base . The rear supports are of solid triangular section brass with spade shaped fixing mouldings to the top and bottom. The mahogany shelves have reeded fronts and are of serpentine shape. The painted finish is later, probably carried out in the Edwardian period. The shelves are robust and are of a simplistic and pleasing design perfect for todays interior tastes.
