Antique Oak Wall Shelves

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality set of shelves dating from the early 20th century. They are made from oak and have shaped sides with pretty fretwork cut decoration. There are brackets to hang them on the wall but the shelves do stand freely so could also sit on the floor or on top of another piece of furniture.

They are a good quality piece and have been well made. They have a nice patina and the oak has mellowed to a lovely warm colour

They are in very good condition for their age and are strong and sturdy. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks but no major damages or anything detrimental. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
