Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of small size, with soft colours and cochineal highlights.

Circa 1900.

This is an pleasing example of a Tekke rug with 3 rows of 10 Tekke guls. The colour palette is soft and warm with a madder red field and highlights in cochineal. The rug has the traditional 'star in octogen' border.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
