Here we have for sale today this Early 20th Century Carved Oak Box Settle or Monks Bench, unusually made of small proportions.
Dating 1930 ish and all made in solid oak, having this carved top rail with tongue and groove backboards. Solid shaped arms, and having this solid hinged seat enclosing a storage interior. Seat Height 43cm
Original polish plus patina its this warm oak colour with a lovely polish (please see pictures)
Solid in all its joints with NO woodworm.
