The Good Quality 8 Day Movement is Inscribed Geo Sutherland 1815. Brass Dial of Good Weight with Silvered Chapter, Seconds & Date Rings. Plus Silvered Name Lozenge Inscribed Geo Sutherland. Two Brass Covered Lead Weights.

George Sutherland employed the rare NO Back Cock to the Movement. Instead he Attached the Back Cock to the Back Board to Suspend The Pendulum. Presumably, he was trying to eliminate any vibration between the Swinging Pendulum and the Workings.
