In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Early 20th-century British watercolour landscapes frequently incorporate translucent washes, subtle tonal variations, and structured architectural perspectives influenced by classical topographical traditions.

Watercolour paintings consist of water-soluble pigment binding agents applied directly to heavy rag paper, typically presented behind protective glass within a carved wood or gilt frame.

Authentic period pieces feature period-appropriate artists signatures, original mounting materials, gentle paper toning, and fluid brushwork distinct from modern photomechanical prints.

Framed antique watercolours work well positioned above a console table, integrated into an eclectic gallery wall, or hung on neutral painted walls to provide historic texture.

Display watercolour artworks away from direct sunlight and damp environments, utilising acid-free backing board and UV-filtering glass to prevent fading and paper degradation.
