W.J. Gravener Antiques Ltd. has dated this Antique Mahogany Longcase Clock to the Georgian era.
The fine-quality mahogany case has well-chosen flame veneers to the trunk door and to the base panel and has brass stop-fluted columns to the hood and trunk. The clock is topped off with fine fret-work and brass finials. It bears the name "Nick Gordelier, London" which is probably the retailer. In very good condition. 2200mm high, 480mm wide and 250mm deep. English. Circa 1780.
