Description

Here we have a wonderful George II Walnut table or lowboy c1740. As you can see the table has great colour and patina. The top has matched quartered veneers with lovely colour and grain. There is a herring bone inlay to the top with crossbanded border and a stepped delicate thumb moulded edge. There is a wonderful configuration of four drawers with one long over three short. The darwers are all Oak lined and have their original brass handles and escutcheons. The drawer fronts replicate the top with herring bone inlay and wonderful straught grain Walnut panels. There are beautiful solid Walnut well shaped cabriole legs and the carcass is also of revealed hand cut dove tail construction. A super example in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 76 cm wide 41 cm deep 71 cm high.
