The kitchen wall rack has been adapted from a Georgian dresser. The Georgian oak wall rack features a protruding shaped canopy, with a plain frieze, secured by two waterfall shaped sides, united by two shelves below, which retain the original pate beds, to stop the plates sliding off the shelves. The Georgian oak wall rack comes with two brass colour metal brackets to secure the wall-rack to the wall.

The Georgian oak wall rack boasts a rich dark-brown period oxblood colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour, depth and patination this can only be achieved through the age and years of care and cleaning it has received. It is impossible to re-create this colour if it has been re-polished.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality antique English Georgian oak wall rack, designed to be wall hung, adapted from a dresser, circa 1780, in excellent condition. The kitchen wall rack has been adapted from a Georgian dresser. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. This period oak wall rack retains its original polish, boasts a rich oxblood period oak colour. The Georgian oak wall rack is solid in joint and has been traditionally wax polished, by hand, in our workshop, to a professional standard, therefore, the finish, colour and patination are of an excellent standard. The moulded cornice is a later addition, but the design is in-keeping with the rack as a whole. The Georgian oak wall rack comes with two brass colour metal brackets to secure the wall-rack to the wall. The oak kitchen wall rack is well constructed, solid in joint and is ready to be used.
