Beeches Vintage has dated this Georgian Sterling Silver Spoon to the Georgian era.

It was made by William Sumner I and it was hallmarked in London in 1792. The hallmarks are on the back on the handle..
The spoon has a beautiful tapered handle and a lovely shaped bowl. At the top of the handle it has a very pretty etched design featuring a crown and a unicorn.
There’s a very tiny indentation in the bowl which can only be felt with a finger.
It’s in good condition, particularly for a spoon which is over 230 years old.
It weighs 36g and measures 18.5cm in length (nearly 7 3/8 inches).
