Qashqai rugs were woven by nomadic tribes in the Fars province of south-western Persia during the 19th and early 20th centuries. These textiles are celebrated for their spontaneous geometric patterns, stylized animal and floral motifs, and rich cultural symbolism reflecting nomadic life.
