M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The square tubular brass frame with ribbed bulbous finials and raised on brass castors. The tiers each with a parchment coloured craquele type two-tone surface with gilded lines .
The sides with moulded profile brass edging .

Probably by the esteemed dealership of Mallett of Bond St., London, a company who produced high quality decorative and practical brass-framed etageres and stands of this type to compliment their stock of fine antique furniture and accessories.
In excellent original condition, the brass having achieved an atmospheric aged colour and patination.
