Mahogany Graduated Open Etagere C1880

Description

This Interesting and unusual MAHOGANY OPEN ETAGERE, dating from Circa 1880, has seven sections including the top.

It was possibly originally made as a Shop Display Stand and has many uses in modern day life. In the Hallway it is ideal for stacking shoes, hats and scarves, in the Bedroom with open boxes of socks, ties, hankies, etc., or in the Study holding stationery and books.

The sections are graduated in two heights - the height of the top sections is 4.75 inches (12 cm) and the lower sections 7.25 inches (18.5 cm).

The ETAGERE stands well and has a good patina. It can be viewed from all sides.
