How do I style a vintage choker?

These shorter lengths sit naturally against the collarbone, making them suitable for pairing with open necklines or evening wear. Because many feature decorative clasps set with gems, wearing the fastening slightly to the side creates an alternative focal point.

Are pearls strung on silk?

Traditional multi-strand iterations frequently employ silk thread, often with individual knots tied between each pearl to prevent friction and loss. Many vintage examples have been professionally restrung over time to ensure structural integrity during regular wear.

How can I date my necklace?
