How do I hang a wine label?

Most labels come equipped with a matching silver chain that slips easily over the neck of a decanter. Position the chain so the label rests flat against the shoulder or front of the glass vessel.

What drinks are usually named?

Traditional fortified and aged wines dominate these pieces, including Port, Sherry, Madeira, and Claret. Labels for spirits like Rum, Brandy, Gin, and Whisky appear alongside rarer titles.

Are these pieces hallmarked?

Many British pieces carry full hallmarks on the reverse, showing the maker's mark, assay office, and date letter. Chinese export and some earlier items may rely on maker marks or regional stamps instead of standard London hallmarks.

Can I use them on modern bottles?

The chains and sizing suit traditional decanters and standard wine bottles with distinct necks. They pair well with antique barware and contemporary glassware alike.
