Royal Worcester, a Pair of Vases

A stunning pair of Edwardian Royal Worcester, Hadley Ware vases, dated to 1905, by A C Lewis for Royal Worcester. Designed in pedestal urn form and painted with pheasants on branches in pine woodland, signed, green marks. The painting and attention to detail in these vases is exquisite, the colours remain vibrant and fresh even after all their long years! This pair will form an outstanding focal point on their own or matched with other graduating sized vases.

Brief History:

In 1905 Royal Worcester purchased the Hadley factory for £7,500 the factory continued to produce wares using the Royal Worcester mark with the additional word ‘Hadleyware’ until March 1906. Therefor theres was a very short window when these vases were produced, relating to a very specific time in Royal Worcesters history.

Measurements: 18.5cm high

Condition: excellent antique condition, free from chips or cracks. Painting is in perfect condition, no rubbing.
