Westmorland Glass has dated this Scottish Mahogany Longcase Clock to the 19th Century.
The case has some age related marks and as can be seen the top of the hood has some damage. The hood door glass has been replaced.
The paintwork is original depicting a Farrier tending to a horses shoe. The dial also benefits by having a seconds dial and date calendar dial.
The clock is a desirable size being only 6’6(78 inches) tall to the top of the swan necks and 17.5 inches wide.
