Stunning late 19th century bronze statue of a bear, c1890. Beautifully cast and executed, this is a fine and heavy example weighing 5.5kg. It is well detailed with the features, facial expression, fur etc very nicely modelled. The bronze has taken on great colour following years of handling and this is a highly decorative piece that will display well in a modern or traditional setting. Overall condition is good with only very minor signs of handling in line with age and use.
