Pair of Exhibition Quality Burr Walnut Cabinets

Description

A stunning exhibition quality pair of 19th Century burr walnut side cabinets. The bow ended polished tops above the moulded and beaded friezes, the centres having a hinged drop down glazed doors within shaped, carved and pierced carved frames. Below are open book or display shelves flanked by bowed plate glass and burr walnut doors which open to 2 walnut faced shelves. The applied stiles having wonderfully carved individual bunches of fruit and acanthus carved corbels. The pair raised on conforming off set plinth bases and complete with working brass locks and keys. Both cabinets are in excellent condition and have been re-lined in a cream coloured fabric. Dimensions:- Height…58’’/ 147.5cm. Width…59.25’’/ 150.5cm. Depth…16.25’’/ 41.5cm.
