A Fine Antique Louis 16th Parquetry and Marble French Commode or Chest of Drawers. The chest of breakfront form has a Marquina Marble top above a bank of three drawers. The craftsmanship of the cabinet maker is clearly evident with the use of wonderful veneers of tulip and kingwood in a an abundance of parquetry panels and decorative detail. Finished with handsome gilt metal mounts and handles. The whole standing cabriole legs.
