Description

Superb well- proportioned Edwardian mahogany knee hole desk with replacement tan leather writing surface decorated with gilt and blind tooling. The oak lined drawers with warm mahogany cockbeaded fronts, run smooth and retain their original locks and swan handles. The desk splits into 3 parts having three drawers across the top and three graduated drawers in each of the pedestal, raised on carved legs with claw and ball feet and castors. These feature makes for easy transporting to and moving around the home/office. A fantastic piece full of age, charm and character with stunning grain patterns throughout including the back so this can be used as a free standing item.
