Our stock includes early oak and walnut furniture from the 18th century, as well as more formal pieces from the Georgian period. Grand Tour bronzes are small-scale souvenir reductions of classical Greco-Roman statues. Produced primarily in Italy during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, these metal figures were purchased by wealthy European travellers completing educational tours across the continent.

These sculptures were cast in bronze using the lost-wax (cire perdue) process or sand casting methods. They were typically given an applied chemical patination ranging from rich brown to dark green and mounted onto marble or granite bases.
