These are a very good armchairs indeed.
The frames are solid oak and are finished with industrial steel castors.
The cushions have been restuffed with goose and down feathers, they have what’s called Thomas Chippendale floating buttons to the cushions.
The pair have been fully restored to include having the old colour washed back, they’ve then been hand dyed this lovely deep cigar brown colour. The timber frames have been washed back and French polished. The idea behind this restoration is to keep the original patina but make the colour glorious.
