Gertrude Antiques has dated this Victorian Rosewood Work Table to the Victorian era.
This sewing table has an almost square top which is edged. The table is supported by a shaped centre column with a four pronged base and bun feet. There is a slide out storage area made of green fabric for wool work and sewing items. This is weighted at the base. Above that there is a drawer. The pretty drawer handles are brass on the back and front of the table. There is an open key hole on the front but, unfortunately, no key. There is a brass keyhole surround on the back as well as the handles.

In very good condition throughout with good patina. There are no stains on the surface of the wood. Slight wear to the base edges as one would expect given the age of the piece but barely visible. The bun feet are in very good condition. The green fabric is also in good condition.

This is not only a useful table but is still functional for present day use.
