Description

Circa 1815, Scottish Regency rosewood fold-over card table. The well figured rosewood top with rounded edges, opening to a green baize lining and swivelling to a compartment for storage. The rosewood panel frieze over a turned, ring turned and carved acanthus leaf stem with a dragooned collar, on a raised concave rosewood and scumbled platform base. The hipped sabre legs with foliate carved tops, reeded base and well cast brass foot and castors.
