This is a wonderful card table, great colour, great timber, great constuction, Gillow design and Gillow build quality, flat top, no splits, crisp carving, great proportions and lined with mahogany all round. This table really is the best of the best of this period. Attributed to Gillows. There are various elements of the design in the Gillow sketch books, for instance the photograph of a similar reeded and gadrooned column on a table in the Susan Stuart book.
