Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Developed during the nineteenth century, hall stands were functional entryway furniture designed to hold coats, hats, walking sticks, and umbrellas, often incorporating mirrors, barometers, or marble tops.

These pieces were typically constructed from solid hardwoods such as mahogany, oak, or walnut, frequently featuring marble surfaces, cast iron drip trays, and turned wooden pegs.

Genuine nineteenth-century examples feature hand-cut joinery, original removable metal drip trays, hand-carved decorative fretwork, and period-appropriate hardware or integrated weather instruments.

Placing a hall stand in a modern entryway or wide corridor provides functional storage while serving as a focal point when contrasted against neutral walls and minimalist accents.

Dust the wooden surfaces regularly with a soft cloth, apply beeswax periodically along the grain, and clean the marble top using a pH-neutral stone cleaner to prevent staining.
