Description

An incredibly useful Victorian occasional table in mahogany. This type of table, of the campaign furniture family, is often referred to as a coaching table. With a twist of a catch on the underneath of the top, it folds neatly for storage or for carrying to another room. It is of highly desirable small to medium size measuring less than 2' across the top, and would double up as a lamp stand, a wine table, or as a bedside table. It retains its original finish throughout, with a warm glow and a soft lustre shine. This stylish piece is English, and it dates from the late 19th century.
