John Howkins Antiques has dated this Victorian Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase to the 1870s.
The upper section having twin glazed doors revealing four mahogany faced adjustable shelves, the base with secretaire drawer with a super satinwood interior consisting of two banks of 4 drawers with a further drawer between and pigeon holes above and to the sides. A further 2 arched panel doors below with mahogany faced shelf interior.

Condition - The superb mahogany used in the making of this bookcase give an outstanding appearance. All brass fittings and locks original with keys. Baize replaced.
