The Antique Furniture Company has dated this Victorian Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase to the Victorian era.
The two arched panelled doors below opening to reveal a cupboard with shelf, all standing on a plinth base.

The secretaire drawer is fitted with original Hobbs & Co, London lock, there is no key but a locksmith should be able to cut one if required (our usual locksmith charges around £10). The locks on both set of doors have been replaced and there is a key for those.

In good solid condition, there is an patch of veneer missing from the top surface and nibbles around the door edges and locks. Small veneer losses to top edge of cornice and top of base section and some loss to the base moulding on the right side, inside the secretaire is worn through at the fold and and we will replace the couple of missing knobs.
