Pair of early C19th Regency period carved mahogany armchairs with stylish 'swag' or lambrequin back splats.

Smart pair of Regency armchairs with stylish carved top rails and swagged lambrequin or folded-drapery style carved back-splats or lumbar bars.

Reeded scroll arms , black leather upholstered seats with brass stud nail detail to the edges . Raised on tapered and reeded forelegs with paterae detail to the blocks of the tops and reeded front bars .

Good rich colour and patina. Strong sturdy frames with only minor historic repairs .

Good useful scale pair of armchairs for use as desk , library or dining chairs.
