James Reeve (Quinneys of Warwick) has dated this French Bonheur Du Jour Desk to the Victorian era.
The turned legs are fluted and have ormolu inset at the top. They terminate in neat brass cups.
There are 3 sweet little drawers below the cupboard.

The cupboard doors have a mirrored panel.
Above the panel is a marble top with a pretty pierced brass gallery surround.
The piece is very decorative and the small size would accommodate any space.
