Description

An 8 day mahogany breakarch clock with a pagoda top. The 12" brass dial has a strike silent lever in the arch.

The clock measures 92"(2330mm) in maximum height.

In addition to the strike silent there is repeation work providing 3 modes of striking; on the hour, at will and silent.

The clock is imposing and finely proportioned with well figured mahogany veneers. There is a sound fret int the pagoda front.

Edward Hunsdon worked from Chelmsford from 1730-82.
