Treasure Trove Worcester Ltd has dated this Royal Worcester Porcelain Vase to the 19th Century.

The white porcelain body is richly ornamented with raised oval medallions depicting cherubs in relief, surrounded by elaborate gilt scrollwork highlighted in iron-red. Further applied and gilt acanthus and anthemion decoration enriches the upper body, while the vase stands on a fluted circular foot with gilt decoration.

The elaborate modelling and decoration are characteristic of the finest late Victorian Royal Worcester production, with strong Renaissance Revival and Classical influences.
The underside bears the Royal Worcester green factory mark with the date code for 1884, together with the red retailer's mark for A.B. Daniell & Son, 46 Wigmore Street, London.
Condition: Good antique condition. Light rubbing to the gilding, commensurate with age. No chips, cracks or repairs.
