The piece features a finely carved, moulded architectural cornice rising above an intricate floral frieze. Exquisite decorative laurel leaf motifs run continuously throughout the frame, culminating in elegant scrolled foliage carvings at the base. Crucially, this rare find retains its original silvered glass. The plate features a highly desirable, subtle foxing and a mesmerizing antique sparkle that introduces wonderful depth and character to any space.
