Description

This exquisite and unusual Victorian sliced-cut glass scent bottle was made by the Mousley Brothers and is dated Birmingham 1898. The distinctive salmon pink square glass body with hobnail-cut bands. The fully hallmarked screw-top silver lid with embossed floral decorations surrounding a vacant roundel. The neck with silver thread and the inner lid fitted with the original coloured stopper

M BROS for the Mousley Brothers.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion passant.

Date letter "v" for 1895.

Condition:

Very good.

Silver lid in very good condition.

Glass in very good condition.

No chips or cracks.
